Meet the Photographer
MJ Jackson
Hi I’m MJ and I’m a photographer based in Provo, Utah. I have been in event photography for the past year and a half, and have enjoyed taking pictures for my friends and family for even longer! Photography is a passion of mine and I love capturing meaningful memories to look back on. Most of my photos are taken with my favorite digital camera, believe it or not! Photography has been a way for me to build my confidence and work on my artistic eye. It’s an amazing creative outlet for me and I am so grateful for all the events that have reached out to me so that I can start building my portfolio. If you ever see me with a camera in my hand, feel free to ask for a photo of you and your friends!
Personal Session -30 Minutes
Starting From $ 30
Looking for personal photos for your graduation, prom, mission, or just because? Mini shoots are available starting at $30 for 30 minutes. Every additional 10 minutes is $10 more. Every additional person is $20 (this extra cost also includes an extra 10 minutes of time. Example: 2 people for a thirty minute session actually ends up being 40 minutes).
Mission Sessions
Starting FROM $ 50
Mission sessions start at $50 for 60 minutes, with an additional $40 every hour.
Event Packages
Starting FROM $ 60
Events are my personal favorite to shoot and start at $60 for the first hour, with another $40 per hour. Guaranteed 75 photos an hour for parties, and 40 photos an hour for concerts.
Different Cameras for Different Events
Digital Camera
Digital cameras can be used for either personal photos or event photos. There is no extra editing time for these photos as the raw images already look great! They give a natural feel and already have a ton of vibrancy. There is no editing charge, and images will be delivered much faster. Digital cameras are the only option for events that use strong lights and lasers, as lasers are known to severely damage camera lenses and cause expensive repairs.
Canon Camera
Canon cameras can be used for either personal photos or events. Canon photos will be more expensive as they will need to be edited for lighting and vibrancy. Any event or photoshoot that uses the Canon will be an extra $30 for every hour spent editing, which will be determined by how long the shoot is.
This camera will not be used for events with lasers or strong lighting as lasers are known to severely damage camera lenses.

PHOTO PRICING
I try my best to keep my photos as cheap as possible, so there is always an option to get free watermarked photos. If you would like free watermarked photos, please screenshot or send me the number of the photo you want through instagram or email. I will exchange your screenshots for nicer versions of the watermarked photos. Limit of 5 free photos throughout all albums.
Photos are provided for personal use only. Please do not remove, crop, obscure, or digitally alter the watermark, or use AI/tools to remove it. Please tag @mj_jackson_photography when sharing! This allows other people to find their photos and helps keep my photos as cheap as possible by continuing to offer a free watermarked version.
